Cocaine energy drink sparks buzz

A NEW energy drink that crashed parties in the US last week is called Cocaine, and its makers are billing it as "the legal alternative" to the drug.
The drink's maker maintains that "doing Cocaine", the beverage that is, gives a bigger and better high without the crash other energy drinks cause.
They say a high hits within five minutes, followed by a caffeine boost 15 minutes later. The ride lasts five hours and the concoction is "350 per cent stronger
than Red Bull", they claim.
They argue the effect is part chemical - the drink uses "simple" sugars that don't need to be broken down by the body to create a sugar buzz, and a much
larger dose of vitamin B12 - and part psychological.
"When a person sees the name of the drink, some psychological effect happens and the person is already experiencing the energy buzz before they even open
the can," speculates Cocaine inventor Jamey Kirby, whose company, Redux Beverages, is based in Las Vegas.
"I can think of no other product except real cocaine that could have that effect on the public."
Taste-testers say the drink hits hard. "It does give you a little rush," one sipper said.
Another hated the feeling the drink gave her. "I don't like the tingly feeling in my chest. I feel my heart racing and I'm not being paranoid . . . I feel
looped."
Kirby said an ingredient was added to slightly numb the throat to add an oral sensation much like cocaine does.
The company is marketing the drink to partygoers.
Don't know about anyone else but I'm very curious.

has anyone ever heard of the energy drink marketed by the Quixtaran energy drink that consists of vitamin B and other enzymes and has no sugar and little cafeine.
I ahve been drinking it for years now and its great. they have several flavors including citrus, root beer, etc.

There was 1 mentioned on the sleeve of Trivium's album, Rockstar energy drink, I'm curious as to it's effect.
I think I heard that Coca Cola originally had real cocaine in it when it first came out.
Rockstar isn't that great.
I bought a can of cocaine for an obscene price on ebay last night; will give a review as soon as I get/try it. :)
...when a person is REALLY dying...or more so, when the pain is so great that one is about to die from it/the pain alone...Morphine is the way to go... *trust me* been there twice...
*Major Surgeries/pain control medication.
Morphine helps so as can simply get out of hospital bed to do the "norma;' stuff...like taking a shower...never minding that said shower will take a good hour, ('cause every movement hurts so D*mn bad) then an hour to put on most basic of make-up, (Gotta "look good" so as can get on with life, after all it is "therapy" in just the amount of energy it takes to put on the eye shadow/etc/blushes/lip glosses/etc... then an hour to walk a few feet/sit in a chair while nurse makes up bed and then gives just the right amount of energy to FINALLY get self with the help of two nurses, back into bed...Ahhhh the pain...nothing like it...*All the while wondering, how long till my next injection of the morph. .... when the minutes ...no, make that the seconds...When the seconds of taking... Life: One Step At A Time...goes on for hours and hours and hours around the clock for days on end....
***Anyone one heard...If Cocaine in beverage form...maybe.... ???

This has nothing to do with real cocaine.
And all opiates suck. For medical use and otherwise.

Lol, connie! Sobe's are good! Well, that conept sounds realy interesting, but not something I'd try, though. See, with all that caffiene and who knows what they add in it, there could be serious repercussions down the line if they drink this stuff on a regular basis.
...SOBE's don't have caffeine in them..*at least that's my thot... *Need to re-check labels...
I have no desire to partake of a product with the name of a substance that is responsible for destroying millions of lives. It's sad to see the cattle moving toward the slaughter so readily. Wake up, God damn it!
I need to find some of this stuff and iris your right there will be issues with dribnking it on a regularbasis along with other energy drinks. I usually go for amps but maybe every onc and a while not every day. hmm wonder when it will hit my college campus and the company may be forced to change the name too I don't know though.
O.k. I went to a local Grocery Store and they were sold out many of the "flavors," except this one they had though others too only this one well, I have had before so I got it again so as I could check SOBE label and report back here. smile
It's pretty much all hype. Has an interesting taste and gives you a weird yet somewhat pleasant sensation in your throat/chest for a few minutes but the actual energy boost is pretty weak. Noticeable but not what I was expecting. Then again, I drink about a pot of coffee per day so take it for what it's worth.
